To Listen or Not To Listen: Heartbreak on a Full Moon

Alright, here’s my review of Chris Brown’s new album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon… I haven’t listened to it yet. I’m sorry, but just the thought of listening to an album with 45 songs sounds so exhausting to me. It’s the same way I felt when Future dropped two albums within a week of each other earlier this year. It’s just too much (unless of course, you’re BeyoncĂ© or Chance the Rapper, then I might make an exception). I think I would be more excited to listen to it if I didn’t anticipate the entire thing sounding like one big song. Absolutely nothing against Chris, but I just feel like a lot of his songs sound the same or like something he’s already done…just like Future…and Migos…and pretty much 75 percent of artists nowadays.

Something tells me I’ll get around to listening to it eventually when my life slows down a bit and I feel like I can afford spending my time on listening to the 45 track-long song. On the plus side, the album went gold on November 8th, so congratulations to Chris and his die hards! (I sometimes miss the days when I used to be one)

Anyway, let me know what you think of Heartbreak on a Full Moon if you’ve listened to it below. I want honest opinions! Can I put it off some more or is it a must listen? I need some motivation.
